i would like to see order by mail of cigerattes to conitinue 06-20-03

it's not enough that they enslaved and murdered you, took your land
language and customs, wantonly destroyed your buffalo.  now in the 21st
century, they still can't honor their damn treaties. keep up the good
fight kimosabee.

If this legislation passes, I will need driving directions to your location. 06-20-03

How dare they dictate to anyone what they can or can not do. I buy cigarettes from the Indian Nation. I refuse to stop. I am a Chickamaugan Cherokee and I will not surrender to any white person; if the governor Rumor does like the idea that the Indian Nation does not have to listen, then he can get off of our land

Yes, I received it yesterday which happened to be the 21st. Thank you for replying to my message. I guess whoever does stock the cigs must have shipped them Friday because the were in the mailbox last night. I would just like to say that I appreciate your fast service and affordable prices and that I actually enjoy the Native American cigarettes better that of Big Tobacco. I had to by a few packs of Basic's last week and it took me about five cigs to get used to the taste and smell of them. The Native's are far better. Oh, and by the way both the Rep. and Dem. candidates for Governor are for a $.50  a pack tax on cigarettes which will make premium brands around $5.00 a pack. So unfortunately we Floridian's are catching up with you guys in NY, $7.00 a pack, that is BS. Anyway thanks again. You guys make me proud to have Cherokee and Creek blood running in this pasty white Celtic mans veins. You all take it easy.
Thanks,
Richard

GOOD FOR YOU FOR WINNING THE BATTLE AGAINST THESE NYS NAZIS!  Governor Pataki should take a swim in his PCB-infested rivers and drop dead.

I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy shopping with you. Now with the tunes added to your site I really enjoy your site. Thanx Guy

I will be making my selection from
among the Tribal brands, since the "Big Tobacco" brands are already
prohibitively priced, thanks to the Tobacco Persecution Act.

I would also like to congratulate your company, and your entire nation, for
taking a stand against big government. The efforts being made to tax
tobacco out of existence by the self-righteous holier-than-thou political
do-gooders are far and away the most invasive, high-handed measures ever to
burden the American citizenry. I, for one, am so very weary of being
singled out for punishment taxation simply because I consume small paper
tubes of dried leaves. I am also tired of being treated as a societal
outcast because of my decision to use a product that is still, for the time being, legal.
I better get off my soap box, or this e-mail will never end.
Thank you very much,

Jim

It is always nice to hear the good things instead of complaints all the time.  I am a trainer for customer service where I work.  Last month I called your customer service because I did not receive my cigarettes as quick as I normally do and was concerned my check was lost in the mail.  The young lady I talked with went over and above to help me.  She called another girl who had left for the day at home and then called me back at my home at 8:00 at night to tell me my order was received and my cigarettes would be in the mail the next day. WOW Great customer service and I thank you and appreciate doing business with you.------------------------------------------K.B.

Dear SnakE, Another thing...it's about time the "real" Americans got a break after being robbed of their own land.  Tax-free casinos...now THAT'S what I call "PAYBACK"!!!  You're welcome!  Paula M.  (PS, Am I going to be arrested for my comments about Pig-Nose??)

(Very cool site, by the way...love the music!)

I am incredibly passionate about the overtaxation and treatment of smokers in
this country. If they did to beer what they're doing to cigarettes, the
public outcry would be so great that it would be heard from here to China!
But since smokers have been relegated to the status of second class
citizens, since it's fashionable to treat a smoker with disdain and
contempt, it's perfectly acceptable to blungeon them to death with taxes. Do
anything to them you want, they're SMOKERS, they don't deserve consideration
or fair treatment. If your local retailers and convenience stores are
accusing you of stealing their business, they should point the finger not at
you, but at their own government, for CREATING the very situation that
causes consumers to turn to you for relief.  The government has already
created a gray market... can a black market be far behind? Every dollar I
earn is taxed... every purchase I make is taxed... every time I shove that
nozzle in my truck to enjoy the freedom that is my heritage, I am taxed.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. I am already burdened quite heavily enough, thank you. And
if smokers can come to you to shed a few feet of the tax chains that bind
them, more power to them. And to you! I am sure that the goverment will play
every underhanded card in it's deck to try and shut you down. I fervently
hope that you will fight them with every means at your disposal.

Best of luck, Raccoon

Hello Snake:
I've been a loyal customer for some months now & after reading
your bulletin ~ I'm glad I chose TBM to buy cigarettes from.
It's terrible that those other online retailers were rats & sent names of
their customers to the government to be taxed.  I hope in the next NYS
governor election - Pataki gets voted out.   I've always had great respect for the Native Americans and the many obstacles they've had to overcome.  I've read many books like: BLACK ELK SPEAKS,  I HAVE SPOKEN,  SEVEN ARROWS & many others.  I've learned from these books about the plight of the Native Americans & I can sympathize.  Although I am a decendant of Italians, my parents were born here & I like to consider myself Native American too.
It's too bad that the prices of smokes are on the rise & the US Postal
Service has upped their prices too.  I guess things won't get any better
since we soon will have a republican president in office.
          Thanks for writing,

Gentlemen: I read your news articles and coming from the Midwest, I was largely unaware of your circumstances. Needless to say, I was appalled by his actions and his statements to your people and the press. I am aware that much of the Constitution and many of our laws were taken directly from those of the Six Nations of the Iroquois. I have sent the following message to Gov. Pataki with the high hopes that many other people who visited your web site
did the same.
Sincerely,
R.E.

Why pick on the most persecuted race in the Western World, we (white European immigrants) have cheated them out of their land, moved them all over
hell-and-gone, forced them to live on reservations and broken treaties (I believe it's well over 5000), tried to force them to become "white", attempted to destroy their culture and denied them everything we give "others" in the name of affirmative action.  If we can pay the Japanese the United States incarcerated during WWII, why shouldn't we (the Federal and State Governments), be responsible for compensating them for some of the
things we did to native peoples or didn't do for them? We are living here only because we (as a white immigrants) considered them "savages" and killed, condensed and reserved them practically out of existence.
Leave them alone!!

TBM:

A few months ago, we placed a cigarette order and you sent us a sample pack
of Native cigarettes, which were quite good as well as reasonably priced.
So when we placed our next order, we ordered several cartons of Native and
wanted to let you know how pleased we've been with the quality and taste of
these cigarettes.  As lifetime smokers, we had both developed a severe
cigarette cough but since we've been smoking the Native cigarettes, our
throat irritation and cough has been cut approximately 95%.  Thank you for
letting us know about these cigarettes.

Thanks for the cigs. By the way, nice web site design there fella!

I just recieved a nasty suprise from the california franchise tax board for
cigarettes I have been ordering on-line.. an 87.5 cents per pack...Do you
report transactions to the taxing authorities in the states that you shop to ?
Please advise
Also if you have a toll free phone number please respond with that  too
Thank You.

WEBMASTERS note : Tobacco by Mail is 100% Native owned. We are Tax exempt by Federal treaty rights. ALTHOUGH SOME ONLINE TOBACCO RETAILERS DO, WE DO NOT REPORT OUR SALES TO ANYONE !!!!

I think it was CNN who did an "expose" about the accessibility of tobacco to the public via the internet. Their bend on it was they questioned the effectiveness of  the safeguards in place against minors making purchases of this kind. They embellished the fact of how easy it is to get to these types of sites and even though the sites mentioned that their policy is not sell to minors, there was little else to back it up.
They also mentioned that the Indian reservations were the ones that offered the biggest discounts on cigarettes by avoiding the hefty taxes that have been imposed. Naturally, I say to that GOOD! However there appears to be a growing number of conservative democrats out there that are rebels looking for a cause. My feelings are that this @#$%!^&!# country has all ready gone too far to tell an individual what he or she can or can't do. Yes, they are detrimental to my health but that's my affair and judgement to make whether or not I wish to embibe.
I respect the air space of others which could go down as common etiquette. But because there are a FEW of the smoking population who do not recognize this does that mean that some prohibitionist backed by the insurance cartel need to motivate the country into a lather? I think not. It is reminiscent of the story "Farenheit 151".
